Toys: Seeking new and gently used toys suitable for children aged 11 and under. Such as Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards, Sports equipment/balls, play kitchens, stem toys, Outdoor Fun, legos, race cars, dolls and more.

 

Cash: Cash donations will be utilized to fund cash prizes for the egg hunt and to acquire the additional books, games, food, and event supplies required for the event.

 

Books: In need of books for all age groups, particularly those that showcase diversity.

 

Games: Accepting boxed and card games.

 

Time: Calling for volunteers to assist with serving food, managing games, distributing prizes, and more.

 

Food: chips, water, juice, and candy, chips.

 

Event Supplies: Event decorations, field games equipment, plastic eggs, and grilling items.

 

Gift Cards: $5 gift cards to reward individuals who generously contribute their time to ensure the smooth operation of the event.

Collection Boxes

Acquire Collection Boxes: Obtain sturdy and clearly labeled collection boxes or bins for collecting toys. Ensure they are large enough to accommodate various sizes of toys.

 

Select Suitable Locations: Choose strategic locations for placing collection boxes where they are easily accessible and visible to potential donors. Consider high-traffic areas such as entrances, lobbies, or common areas of schools, workplaces, community centers, and local businesses.

 

Label Boxes Clearly: Please ensure that each collection box is clearly labeled with information about the toy drive. Additionally, attaching flyers will help provide detailed information about the drive.

 

Provide Information: Place informational flyers about the toy drive near the collection boxes. Additionally, email the flyer and post them in common areas such as lunchrooms, bathrooms, hallway entrances, and other high-traffic areas.

 

Encourage Engagement: Promote engagement with the collection boxes by organizing special events or activities within workplace teams, fostering a fun and friendly competition atmosphere.

 

Express Gratitude: Express gratitude to the locations hosting the collection boxes, as well as to the donors who contribute toys. Consider displaying thank-you notes or signage near the collection boxes to recognize their support.

Our last three Easter Egg Hunts have been truly remarkable, and it's all thanks to the incredible support of generous individuals and organizations like yours. With their help, we've raised thousands of dollars, enabling us to offer a wide range of gifts, from bikes and educational items to toys, backpacks, and beyond. Making a significant impact in the lives of hundreds of children.

Now, we are gearing up for the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, which will take place on March 31, 2024, at Meacham Park in Kirkwood, Missouri. This event promises to be a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. In addition to the thrilling egg hunt, we have planned an array of exciting activities for children of all ages. And guess what? There will be free food, too! We want every child in our community to experience the magic and happiness that comes with Easter festivities.

To continue this beloved tradition and expand our impact, we are seeking assistance in donations in the form of Toys, books, games, time, food, and Event items. Your support will not only contribute to the success of the event but also help us reach an even wider audience. Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of children who need it most.

By joining us as a donor, you will receive prominent recognition in all our event materials. We will showcase your commitment to community development through our social media posts, press releases, and event signage. As we are apart of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
